My temporary bridges were installed on me in 2009 and, for more
than one year, had no functional problems at all. Only small cosmetic
issues and a slight underbite. However, I could eat anything, had no
headaches or TMJ. I only did regular brushing and waterpiked 2-3 times a
week, with a cheap and impossible to use shower waterpik, given to me by
Clear Choice. My bite and bridge was good enough for me to eat apples,
steak, corn on a cob, practically anything no problem.
My second permanents had an obvious overbite, which Clear Choice Atlanta lab and dr. Shwartz hid from me and made me sign my approval. Since at that time I knew nothing about bite issues, it took me a while to figure it out, since I could not see any lower teeth at all, when speaking or laughing. They denied this major cosmetic issue and ignored me for a while, but then admitted the problem. My third permanents lower was almost 1/2 inch left of midline. It took me about one month and a lot of TMJ headaches to figure out that fault. I notified Dr. Shwarts and Dr. Berry. It took another few months and more terrible headaches, until they cared to see me and Dr. Shwartz knowingly denied his evidently flawed work, telling me he would do nothing about it. He also told me “That is it. You’re not getting any other bridges! Live with it!” He also, told me many times, ignoring my TMJ headaches, "Well, aren't my bridges, better than the teeth you had?" They only ground my denture a little and let me go. Obviously Clear Choice doctors did not care for the long term well being of their patient and consciously ignored my bad bite they created. I did not know, but they knew my TMJ headaches were side effects of their bad work and negligently completed bridges, nevertheless let me suffer and deal with terrible headaches for many more months, until out of desperation, I decided to see another implant doctor. Only then Clear Choice Atlanta acknowledged their mistake. My temps were installed back on me and all my chewing TMJ headaches stopped. As soon as my 4th permanent bridges were installed, I did protest to the both, doctor and nurse, I could not see any upper teeth at all. Dr Shwartz denied this obvious faulty work, ignored my frustration, and bullied me to go. Another 2 year dental implant nightmare began that day. My teeth were huge, even though I requested smaller ones compared to my temps. My bridges had a ton of cosmetic issues on top of that terrible underbite. This time headaches started a few hours after eating very tough foods. Dr. Razook and lab tech Mr. Nelson Marte pretended to fix my underbite, by cutting my lower extending my upper front teeth. This made my upper huge teeth even bigger. If I complained about my teeth being too big, Dr. Razook hid the truth, saying smaller teeth are like women's teeth and he constantly ignored my emails about headaches. Now I know, he had to make my upper teeth huge and cut my lower ones to hide my underbite. His sloppy cosmetic rigging and grinding, messed up further my bite function, making my headaches, implant and gum aches progressively worse for me. It was a 2 year long painful nightmare. When rigging failed, I was switched back to me temps, which did not fit me well anymore. Without my informed consent my titanium arch was changed to a huge one, and later, again without my informed consent, my abutment pins were redirected to ease my pain, but my front lips overlapped and my temps bite is not as good as it used to be. My fifth dentures were the sloppiest ever. No doc took part in taking measurements or consulting of any sort. It took about one month and one single test for lab tech Nelson Marte to complete them. My titanium arch was corrected to smaller again. Testing of bridges showed my front teeth, upper and lower, were built crooked. In about 2 weeks, my final bridges were installed, my lower front teeth were not crooked any more, but my upper teeth remained crooked, causing my front teeth to close prematurely and pushing my lower jaw backwards as well, also my bridges needed grinding because they were not leveled and my molars could not touch. Even though I had already emailed detailed instructions to Mr. Marte, my new bridges looked nothing like my requests. When I tried to explain that my front occlusion was still improper. Dr. Razook, like always, paid no attention to my remarks grinding my bridges all over and claiming my bridges were excellent. So absurd, I had to request back my ill fitting temps, otherwise, my bite would go bad again. Dr. Razzok had made up his mind to stop my treatment conveniently forgetting he got paid $40 000, in advance. He pretendsd everything was great, like Chineese in the 80's. If item is produced - quality does not count. When I told him I could take legal action and he said," Yeah, right!". Just because they are big companies backed up by big lawyers, Dr. Razook thinks he can throw me out of his practice and get my $40 000, after torturing me for years, and taking countless additional time and expenses from me. For more than 16 years, I am sole owner and operator of my Computer Consulting business, which was damaged consistently during the last 4 years, since I had to go to CC Atlanta practice, loosing many work days. Clear Choice Atlanta for more than 3 years created complications arising from their negligently completed crowns and bridges, knowingly risking my implants health, my health and my life. My life and health have been permanently affected because of the mistakes that were made by Clear Choice Atlanta. I wear over again my temps, which do not fit well and hurt my gums in many places. Cannot even eat a bagel, unless tear it firstly in small pieces, no corn on a cob, apple or steak or pizza etc., otherwise my front implant, which Dr. Razook hurt, when he put a double screw on(see Malpractice case 2), will hurt and all my lower jaw will be in pain starting headaches, which last for days. More relevant information Breach of contract I paid $40.000 in 2009. According to their contract, CC should had successfully finished my bridges in 1 year. Now it is 2014 and I still have no solution and I need $40.000 more, to hopefully correct their mistakes. Uniformed consent cases Clear Choice Atlanta without my informed consent changed 1. my titanium arch to a huge size, without any
apparent reason - side effects
my lower jaw arch was changed when my 4th permanents were installed, a
few months later started having pain, which progressively got worse, my
headaches became the most terrible ones in my life, a few time lasted
for one week and I feared blood clot and my gums and implants
hurt, on on occasion, as if stabbed by a knife. (Documented by my emails
sent to Clear Choice) Dental malpractice cases 1. My painful infection of my lower jaw. Lab tec Mr. Marte a bad bridge, which damaged and infected my gums, causing me a painfully swollen cheek. In that case, I got no help for many days, because CC Atlanta was closed. I lost numerous days of work, driving time, money and I still have no solution, since Dr. Razook kicked me out of his Practice, without care, knowing implant complications can cause me more pain or even death. 2. Dr. Razook's screw on screw outstanding negligence case. This head CC of Atlanta doctor kept pulling on my screwed bridge, thinking it was loose, in fact my bridge was still screwed to my lower front left implant, but he somehow had put another loose screw on top. This flagrant malpractice case was very painful for me, since he kept pulling for a long time. I continued to have issues for weeks after the incident. Even now if I bite an apple or anything tough/chewy, terrible implant pain and headaches start in a couple of hours and last for days. He might have caused a permanent damage to my front left implant seal, which needs more of my money and time to correct. I spent and am spending considerable time writing emails and need much more time and money to prepare for courts and lawyers. 3. Doctor Shwartz and Razook knowingly and repeatedly made me wear negligently completed and bad aligned bridges, and ignored the painful side effects I suffered. I constantly dealt with headaches that started 2-4 hours after I ate anything chewy or tough and lasted for days and even weeks at a point in time. Many of my emails sent to CC doctors, and dr Razook personally, keep track and document my many years of anguish and agony caused by bad bite and ill fitting bridges of Clear Choice Atlanta. Therefore I, finally, opted for my temps, because Clear Choice Atlanta failed to deliver and I was desperate. My temps do not fit that well anymore or look best, but the bite better than bridges I tried so far. Now my gums and implants still hurt if I bite an apple or anything chewy, and that again causes me a headache. At least this is not a TMJ headache and, I can avoid headaches, if I firstly cut the apple or steak with knife in little pieces, before eating. Clear Choice of Atlanta got sloppier and worse, as time went by. My fifth and last sloppy permanents were prepared exclusively by a lab tech, Nelson Marte and were finished in less than a month, with only one test, but he hid from me when my permanents were installed. At CC Atlanta one is at the mercy of a very unskilled lab tech, doctors did not do bridges or denture work. They never took measurements or consulted me or took notes, before dentures were made. After denture was finished by lab tech, Clear Choice Atlanta doctors, spent only a few minutes with me, claimed everything looked good or grinded my denture and tried to con me to sign my approval. Hiding flaws and frequently exploiting my lack of dental implant knowledge was a norm. Clear Choice Atlanta attention to detail is simply nonexistent. No doctor or personnel bothered write down my remarks, consequently my bridges were never done right the first time. Clear Choice Atlanta doctors cared only for my signature of approval, did not care if my bridges were right or wrong, or about any short or long term consequences of their bad work (see my 3rd permanents case). If I dared to criticize their bad work, complain or disagree, Clear Choice doctors acted like I was to blame, and Dr. Shwartz tried to bully me, many times to get my signature knowing his bridges were flawed and unhealthy and could cause TMJ (see my 3rd permanents), while Dr. Razook, kept ignoring my bad my bite and indescribable suffering he caused and created, while directing my 4th permanents incompetent rigging disaster (many of my emails document that). The PROSTHODONTIC INCOMPETENCE of Clear Choice Atlanta lab tech Nelson Marte and doctor Shwartz and Dr. Razook took its toll on me. During 2011 - 2014 I had many complications arising from Clear Choice negligently completed bridges. which they later failed to correct, making things from bad to worse. Consequently, I suffered, TMJ and gum/implant pain, from ill fitting dentures, for many years. Clear Choice negligently completed and tight fitting bridges destroyed my quality of life, messed up my bite and lower jaw, caused me countless headaches, medical malpractice, uninformed consent etc. Clear Choice Atlanta incompetence and negligence, destroyed the quality of my life for almost 4 years. I lost more than 40 of my work days, traveling from Clemson to Atlanta adding more overall expenses and I lost short and long term business, lost clients, computer sales and business, due to the fact I had to travel to CC Atlanta. More than years than 5 years later and 3 yeas after their contract prediction to finish my dental implants, I am back to square one and need another $40.000, which totals up to $80.000 to correct Clear Choice Atlanta incompetent work, not counting the additional money and time spent for driving, lost work days, emailing, suffering from pain and anguish. After torturing me for 3 years, Dr. Razook stopped my treatment, knowing my temps did not fit well and could break and could cause complications, which could even risk my life. That convenience decision confirmed, again, Dr. Samuel J. Razook, head of Clear Choice Atlanta, is neither humane, nor businesslike. Not my fault if Clear Choice Atlanta dental incompetence stopped them from completing a contracted job, for which, they took 40.000 dollars, in advance. |
